Discovering the Importance of Knowing God for Yourself
I hope this newsletter finds you well. Today, I want to talk to you about the importance of getting to know God for yourself through the Bible. It's easy to rely on what others tell us about God, but there's nothing quite like experiencing Him for ourselves.
In the Bible, we see numerous examples of people who had personal relationships with God. Abraham, for example, was called a friend of God. David was known as a man after God's own heart. Mary, the mother of Jesus, had a deep, intimate relationship with God. These individuals didn't just know about God, they knew Him personally.
When we take the time to study the Bible and seek God for ourselves, we can develop a personal relationship with Him too. We can learn to hear His voice, understand His will, and experience His love and grace in our lives.
So, let's make a commitment to get to know God for ourselves. Let's study His word, pray, and seek Him with all our hearts. And let's remember this prayer as we go about our day:
Dear Father God, We thank you for this Wednesday morning. Not our will but your will be done today. Let us not be distracted by ungodliness around us. Let us choose today who we will serve. Give us a heart from wisdom and your word. Let us study to show ourselves approved. Keep us away from negativity And we won't forget to give Your name all the praise and the honor tonight. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen. 🙏🏾
Thank you for being a part of this community. May God bless you abundantly.
Sincerely,
Ya Rose
