Embracing Time with God: A Refreshing Start to the New Season 🌿
I hope this message finds you well as we embrace the shifting seasons and recent adjustments with daylight saving time. As we navigate through these changes, let's find more time to spend with God this week.
The Bible guides us on various ways to spend quality time with Him, reinforcing the importance of seeking His presence and finding solace in His Word.
Exploring God's Word on Spending Time Together:
Scripture One:Â "But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law, he meditates day and night." - Psalm 1:2
Scripture Two:Â "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." - Matthew 11:28
Scripture Three:Â "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." - Matthew 6:33
Consider the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38-42. Martha was busy with many tasks, but Mary chose to sit at the Lord's feet and listen. Let's take inspiration from Mary's choice and prioritize moments of quiet reflection and prayer in our own lives.
During times of transition, God's promises provide comfort. As we adjust our clocks for daylight saving time, let's also reset our hearts to spend intentional moments with our Creator, finding rest and renewal in His presence.
Dear Father God, We welcome you into our lives this Monday morning. Thank you for your faithfulness all weekend long. We pray you grant us time to read your word and spend time with you today. Please forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Help us put on the full armor of God today And each day so we can withstand the wiles of the enemy. Send us home rejoicing in the wonders of who you are. It is in Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.Â
May this week be filled with the blessings of God's presence and a renewed sense of purpose.
Warm regards,
Ya Rose
