Equipping Ourselves with the Full Armor of God
This Thursday, let us remember we are in a spiritual warfare. Everyone we meet is not happy that you are a believer of Jesus. There are many battles that will come. The battles will be in your mind, through your family and loved ones, where you go, and what you watch.

In Ephesians 6:10-18, the Apostle Paul instructs us to put on the full armor of God to stand against the schemes of the devil. Each piece of armor represents a different aspect of our spiritual defense:
The belt of truth
The breastplate of righteousness
The shoes of the gospel of peace
The shield of faith
The helmet of salvation
The sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God
Ephesians 6:10-18 (NIV)
The Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
By putting on the full armor of God, we can be prepared for the battles we face in our lives.
Will you pray with me today?
Dear Father God,
We thank you this Thursday morning
For bringing us to another day.
We pray that you bless this day.
Allow us to wear the full armor of God
And pray everywhere we go.
Grant us peace and help us to let go
And move forward today.
Thank you for guiding and protecting us.
Let your joy be our strength today.
In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Amen.
May we all be equipped and empowered by the full armor of God as we go forth in our daily lives.
Blessings,
Ya Rose
