Get Ready for the New Season: Make a Plan, Refresh, and Get Organized!
As the days get longer and warmer, it's the perfect time to pause and reflect on the blessings of the past year and look ahead to the new beginnings that await us.
Let us turn to God's Word for guidance and comfort during this time of reflection and renewal. Psalm 118:24 says,
"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
Here are six tips for preparing for Spring:
Make a plan: Before you prepare for the new season, take some time to make a plan. Think about what you want to accomplish and write down your goals.
Refresh your wardrobe: Look at your current wardrobe and decide which pieces you want to keep, add or replace. This is a great opportunity to try out new trends and styles.
Get organized: Once you know what pieces you want to add to your wardrobe, start organizing your closet. Keep like items together and create an easy-to-follow system for you to find what you need quickly.
Clean up: Along with organizing your closet, do a general cleanup of your home and get rid of any items that you no longer need or use. This will help you make room for new items.
Stock up on essentials: Replenish any essentials like socks and underwear. This will help you stay prepared and save you time when you're getting dressed.
Take care of yourself: Take care of your physical and mental health. Take some time to relax, exercise, and eat healthy meals. This will help you stay energized for the season ahead.
As we look ahead to the new season and all that it holds, let us offer a prayer of thanks and protection.
Will you pray with me today?
Dear Father God,
We thank you this Tuesday morning
For being an ever present help in our lives.
Thank you for waking us up this morning.
Strengthen us in your word.
Let us know we have the power to command our day
Through your Holy Spirit.
Protect us and our loved ones.
Forgive us, as we forgive.
Keep us away from temptations.
Help us to be a light.
In Jesus’ name, we pray.
Amen.
In His Love, Ya Rose
