Resting in Faith: Trusting God's Promises for Healing
In life, finding rest can often feel like a hard task to accomplish. Yet, as believers, we are called to rest not only physically but also in our faith in God's promises, especially when it comes to healing.
The Bible is filled with verses that speak to God's desire for our well-being and His promise of healing. One such verse is Jeremiah 17:14, which says, "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise." This verse reminds us that God is our ultimate source of healing, and when we place our trust in Him, we can find comfort and restoration.
Resting in faith means surrendering our worries and anxieties to God and trusting in His perfect timing and plan for our lives. It means believing that even in the midst of uncertainty, God is working all things together for our good.
As we strive to rest in faith for God's promises of healing, let us also take a moment to pray together:
Dear Father God, We come to you this Wednesday morning saying thank you. Thank you for watching over us as we rested. We ask that you forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sinned against us. We ask that you establish us and our loved ones As we walk in Your will and not our will today. Bring healing to the hearts, minds, and souls of your people. It is in Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
May we find peace and comfort in resting in God's promises, knowing that He is faithful to fulfill His word.
With love and blessings,
Ya Rose
