Stay Focused on God: A New Month, A Growing Mind
As we embark on a new week and a fresh month, let us fix our eyes and hearts on God, seeking His guidance and strength in all that we do.
In Philippians 4:8, the Apostle Paul encourages us with these words: "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Let us meditate on these virtues and keep our minds stayed on God throughout this week and beyond.
As we navigate the challenges and blessings of this new month, let's remember the importance of nurturing our spiritual well-being. Let us prioritize prayer, meditation on Scripture, and fellowship with fellow believers. By doing so, we invite God to renew our minds and transform our lives according to His will.
Before we get into the tasks and responsibilities of this day, let us pause and reflect on the following prayer:
Dear Father God, We come to you this Wednesday with gratitude. We ask you to forgive us of our sins As we forgive those who sinned against us. Thank you for waking us up this morning. Thank you for being our ever present help. We ask not our will but Your will be done today. Keep our minds and words stayed on you. Help us guard our mouths today. It is in Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
