Surrendered Joy: Finding Confidence in God’s Presence 🌟
Happy Friday! As we approach the weekend, I want to share a message of encouragement and assurance that, as believers, we can remain happy and confident in the journey of life, knowing that God is with us and His promises are true.
Scriptures on God's Faithfulness:
In Numbers 23:19, the Word reminds us, "God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?" Let this truth anchor your confidence as you surrender to His plan for your life.
Saved by Grace:
Ephesians 2:8-9 reinforces the gift of salvation: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." Our confidence is not based on our actions but on the unmerited favor of God.
Journal Writing Prompt:
Reflect on a moment when you experienced the tangible presence of God in your life. How did that encounter impact your happiness and confidence? Consider how you can actively seek and surrender to His presence in your daily life.
Closing Week Prayer:
Dear Father God, We thank you, Lord, for the week. We know it is not by ourselves but by your mercy and grace that we are here. This Friday, we pray for happiness and confidence. Allow us to walk in Your will for our lives and not our own will. Remind us to pray and fast to seek you. Help us to boldly seek you and not this world. Be our ever-present help. Redirect every plan that is not of you. Lead us to the straight and narrow path. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen. 🙏🏾
May this prayer guide you into a weekend filled with the joy that comes from surrendering to the loving presence of our dear Father God. Walk confidently in the assurance of His promises, knowing that His grace is sufficient for you.
Wishing you a weekend of peace, happiness, and confidence.
In faith and gratitude,
Ya Rose
