The New Covenant God Has Made With Us
I pray this weekend was restful for you all. I researched the new covenant, the commandments, and many other topics Christians may ponder on their walk with God. Today, I wanted to share some ideas regarding the new covenant.
I believe it is important to take time to study the word and see what we believe. It is also meaningful for us to be led by the Holy Spirit and wisdom.
This new covenant means we have faith that Jesus Christ saves, no longer bound by the letter of the law. As it says in Romans 6:14, "For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace."
Here are eight revelations I had this weekend about how we can show up under the new covenant in an honest and centered way:
Your New Life Starts Here:
Know that God sent Jesus down to pay the price for everyone's sin.
Believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again.
Believer that Jesus left His Holy Spirit as a comfort until he returns.
Life Happens Here (To Do):
Build a relationship and be led in all things by the Holy Spirit.
Have faith for all things through the blood of Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Acknowledge the rest that comes with salvation through Jesus and the Holy Spirit (faith, repentance, love thy neighbor, forgiveness, etc.)
Live like Christ, and through the Holy Spirit, bearing the fruits of the Spirit.
Witness to the people who see God’s light in you, to win more souls to Christ.
If you have any revelations or questions and helpful comments about the new covenant, please share them below.
Will you pray with me today?
Dear Father God,
We thank you this Monday for waking us up
And starting us on our way.
Thank you for keeping us in our right minds.
Help us become the people you have purposed us to be.
Let us rest in you and your will for our lives.
Cover us as we move through this world.
Be our ever present help.
Help us to work out our salvation through you
And the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Forgive us as we forgive.
Bless this day and keep us safe.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
In His Service,
Ya Rose
