Trusting God as We Prepare for the Summer Season
As the warm days of summer approach, it is a great opportunity to see the beauty of God's creation. This season often brings opportunities for rest, renewal, and new beginnings. However, it can also bring uncertainty and challenges. Whether you're planning vacations, preparing for changes in routine, or facing personal struggles, this is a perfect time to deepen your trust in God. Here are some ways to cultivate and strengthen that trust as we enter the summer season.
1. Reflect on God's Faithfulness
Take time to reflect on the ways God has been faithful to you in the past. Journaling about previous summers or other periods where you saw God's hand at work can be useful. Consider the blessings, the lessons learned, and the times He provided for you in unexpected ways.

2. Embrace a Daily Quiet Time
Summer often brings a change of pace, which can be a perfect opportunity to establish or refresh your daily quiet time with God. Whether it’s in the cool of the morning or the quiet of the evening, set aside a specific time each day to read the Bible, pray, and listen to God. This consistent practice can deepen your relationship with Him and build your trust.

3. Surrender Your Plans
Planning for summer activities, trips, or even changes in work and family schedules can sometimes cause stress and anxiety. Remember to surrender your plans to God, seeking His guidance and trusting that He will direct your steps. Letting go of control and placing your plans in God's hands can bring peace and assurance.
