Unleavened: Spring Cleaning for the Soul
As we move further into April, of renewal and rebirth, I want to encourage each of you to continue our spiritual and physical spring cleaning journey.
In 1 Corinthians 5:7-8, we're reminded of the significance of removing leaven from our lives, symbolizing the removal of sin: "Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Let us therefore celebrate the festival, not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."
Your constant reminder to rest is now available here!
Perhaps there are no glaring sins, but maybe there's a small area in our lives where God wants to bring light and transformation. Let's take some time in prayer, asking God to reveal any hidden sin or areas in need of repentance. It's through this process of reflection and surrender that we can experience true growth.
Mid-week Prayer:
Dear Father God, We thank you for watching over us this month. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sinned against us. Today we put on the full armor of God So that we can withstand any darts from the enemy. As we stay vigilant, Allow your joy to remain our strength. We pray you let your glory be revealed in and through us As we remove leaven (sin) from our lives. We worship you today. It is in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
May this prayer guide us as we continue to seek God's presence and strive for purity of heart and mind.
Warm regards,
Ya Rose
